MODO2 running group

I am now offering a fairly consistent running group on Sundays at 10:00am at the Lower Wood-lawn track just South of Green-lake.  The focus of the group is adopting running techniques that build awareness and recruitment of core breathing muscles that go from the back of the nose, down the throat, into our thoracic cavity, through our diaphragm, expand upon our back and abdomen and end at the bottom of our pelvis.  Our ability to breath effectively, is inherent to the bio-mechanics of running.  Techniques will also focus on unleashing our neurological agility of the spinal cord, provided by the proper movement of our arms and legs, hips and shoulders, in relation to our spine.  The class is about becoming a truly healthy, energized, educated, empowered, motivated, inspired runner.  The days of running feeling worn out, injured, suffocated and spent are “the new smoking”.  This is the birth of a public health endeavor to promote proper breathing for everyone that can still breathe.  You don’t have to be able to run.  Walkers are welcome.
